Hi, I’m Grace Kelly Carlota — an independent Brazilian artist living in Portugal, where I’ve found space to create, slow down, and live close to the sea.

I first learned to crochet at age 10 from my mother, sparking a lifelong passion for handmade craft and creativity.

In 2019, while traveling through Mexico, I crocheted my first bucket hat. A friend asked for one, then another — and before I knew it, something that started as a personal piece turned into a growing circle of beautiful people who resonated with my work.

Today, I continue to design and handcraft many of my pieces myself here in Lisbon, while also collaborating with talented women artisans in Brazil.
